Our beloved son, brother, nephew, grandson and friend, Joshua Rodney Thurston, made his transition along with his uncle, Kelly Thurston, on Monday, May 15, 2000 as a result of an industrial accident. Joshua was born on July 13, 1976 in Bountiful, Utah.

Josh was an incredible young man that had just started a new life after recovering from the disease of drug addiction. He celebrated 90 days, clean and sober, on the day of his passing. Josh lived life fully. He graduated from Viewmont High School in 1994 where he was the captain of the hockey team. He loved bowling, sports, movies and most of all his family.

He is preceded in death by his Grandpa Hal Fackrell. He is survived by his mother, Mary Thurston; father, Rodney Thurston; step-mom, Michelle Thurston; and beautiful sister, Shannon; many grandparents, uncles, aunts, cousins and friends.

A special thanks to all the wonderful people at Highland Ridge and The Haven that helped him awaken to new life.

Funeral services will be held Sat, May 20, 2000 at 2 p.m. at Russon Brothers Mortuary, 295 North Main. Friends may call Thurs. evening, May 18, 2000 at the mortuary from 6:30-8:30 p.m. and Sat, May 20, 2000 from 12:45-1:45 p.m. at the mortuary prior to services.
