She was a native of Waycross and resided there most of her life. She was the widow of James F. "Buster" Thomas. Also, preceding her in death were her parents, Luther and Sarah Martin Thrift; a daughter, Sarah Ladd and her grandparents, Lone and Janie McBee Thrift.
Survivors are three sons, William L. Thomas of Calhoun, Robert D. Thomas of Woodbine and James F. Thomas of Jacksonville, FL; 10 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 9, from Music Funeral Home Chapel in Waycross with Rev. Leonard Pittman officiating.
Interment followed in Kettle Creek Cemetery in Ware County.
Pallbearers were Edward Brand, Timmy Corley, Jimmy Corley, L. J. Corley, Tony Bennett, Charlie Corbitt and Jeffrey Griffin.
