Dies at Daughter's Home
Mrs Caroline Thresh, 85 widow of William D Thresh, died at 5 am, Monday at the home of her daughter, Mrs Carl Buker, of near Otsego. She had been ill with complications the past three months, the last two weeks critically.
She was born in Coshocton County on December 20, 1866, a daughter of Michael and Wilhelmina Lapp, and had lived most of her life in the vicinity of Otsego. She married on March 12, 1891. Mr Thresh died in 1949. Mrs Thresh was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church and of the missionary society of that church. Besides Mrs Buker, she is survived by another daughter, Mrs Clarence Klein Adamsville Route 1; a son Frank Thresh, New Concord Route 1; a brother Albert Lapp of Conesville; two half brothers Samuel Lapp, Washington Court House, and George Lapp, Conesville; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild. The body is at the Shirer & Son Funeral Home at Adamsville and will be removed Tuesday to the home of the daughter, Mrs Buker. Services will be held at 2 pm Wednesday at Zion Lutheran Church. The Rev Bruce Kreis will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
