Mabel M. Berg, 88, died Friday, May 24, 2002, in Klamath Falls.
Mrs. Berg was born Nov. 29, 1913, in Minnewaukan, N. Dak. to Martin and Mary (Olsen) Thorson. She married John George Berg in Devils Lake, N. Dak. on June 15, 1934. The couple lived in North Dakota and Minnesota before moving to Lakeview.
Mrs. Berg was a homemaker, and a member of the Klamath Basin Senior Citizens. She loved spending time with her grandchildren, cooking, sewing, and working in her yard and garden. She also enjoyed playing Bingo at the Senior Citizens Center.
Mrs. Berg is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law Delroy and Mary Jo Berg, Roseville, Calif., and Richard W. and Joanne Berg, Keno; sisters Esther Kudrna and Thea Supple, Lakeview; and 18 grandchildren, 52 great-grandchildren, and nine great-great- grandchildren.
Mrs. Berg was preceded in death by her husband, John; her parents, Martin and Mary Thorsen; daughter Rhoda Hartley; and one grandson, two sisters, and two brothers.
