Darrin L. Thornton, 40, Bloomington, passed away at 8:40 p.m. Thursday (April 22, 2010) at OSF St. Joseph Medical Center, Bloomington.
He was born Jan. 8, 1970 in Normal to Muriel Thornton. She survives.
He is also survived by four sons, Donye Reshon Thornton, Springfield; Da Tayven Lamont Thornton, Galesburg and Diondre Malik Kirkwood-Thornton and Nathaniel Edward Mast, Bloomington; three daughters, Brianna Monese Thornton, Ania Elise Thornton and Amari Angela Driam Thornton, all of Bloomington; grandmother; fiancee; two sisters, Tiffeny Novsad, Tennessee, and Mellissa D. Thornton, Bloomington; brothers and stepfather.
He was preceded in death by his maternal great-grandmother; both grandfathers; brother, J.B. and uncle, Fritzie.
