Christine Bancroft

In loving memory of beloved daughter, mother, sister, auntie, godmother, grandmother and granddaughter Christine Julia Bancroft. She entered into eternal rest March 28, 2013, in Whiteriver.

Christine was born March 11, 1965, in Tuba City.

She loved all her grandkids; she spent most of her days with the kids and loved her family dearly. She worked at Hawley Lake, Sunrise and Hon-Dah Casino housekeeping. She enjoyed fishing, doing yard sales and loved the outdoors. She wanted to be an auto mechanic. She will deeply be missed by her family and friends.

Christine is remembered and loved by her father Alvin Thompson; mother Beulah Thompson; son Corwin Lee Bancroft; daughter Fayrene Juliet Bancroft; brothers: Jonathan James, Augustine Bancroft, Alverson Thompson; sisters: Merceline James Dazen, Ernestine Bancroft, Berlinda Bancroft Williams; godsisters: Beverlyn Aday, Crystal Garland, Ellen Clay, Samantha Jim Zahgotah, Shawna Aday, Faye Bonito, Visha Wool, Missy Kahn Johnson; godson Maxiell Alvin Antonio; goddaughters: Felesta Marie Hoskie, Davionna Blessing Antonio; aunts: Shirley Hyden of Tuba City, Bessie Tohannie of Preston Mesa, Beeya Acothley of Page, Irene Acothley of Tuba City, Eveline James of Cibecue, Edna James of Whiteriver, Cornelia M. Bush of San Carlos, Mary Jane Martin of San Carlos; uncles: Larry James of Whiteriver, Jake Bancroft of Tuba City, Ricky Martin of San Carlos, Tito Martin of San Carlos; 21 grandchildren, 15 nieces, 15 nephews and numerous family from Tuba City, Page, Flagstaff, Farmington, N.M., Phoenix, Rio Rancho, N.M., Preston Mesa, San Carlos, Chinle, Hawaii, Albuquerque, N.M., Maryland, Tucson, Fruitland, N.M., and many other relatives and friends.

Christine's body will be brought home to Alvin and Beulah Thompson's residence at 700 N. Chief Ave. in Whiteriver for a two-night wake starting at 10 a.m. Friday, April 5. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday, April 7, at the North Fork Miracle Church in North Fork, with Pastor Lex Baha officiating.

Interment will take place at the Whiteriver Cemetery.
