A service will be held today at 2 pm at the Roller Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Roy Gregg officiating. Visitation was Sunday from 9 am to 9pm with the family receiving friends from 6 - 8 pm at Roller Funeral Home. Burial will be at the Spring Creek Cemetery in Calico Rock.
Mrs. Jones was born May 22, 1930, at Morrilton and has been a Mountain Home resident since 1963. She was a former Senath, Missouri resident and a housewife. She married Calvin A. Jones on Nov. 23, 1944 at Paragould and was a member of the Harmony Freewill Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Dathma Brewer Thompson and one brother.
She is survived by her husband, Calvin A. Jones of the home; her father, Tommy Thompson of Russellville; one son, Johnny A. Jones of Mountain Home; one daughter, Elaine Moody of Mountain Home; two brothers, Clifford and Harold Dale Thompson, both of Little Rock; three sisters, Evelyn Young of Atkins, Helen Hickman and Delois Sims , both of Russellville, five grandchildren; one great grandchild; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers are Bob Byrd, Marlin Johnson, Clifford Davis, Bryan Sandman, Larry Morris, and Eugene Hurst.
