Sharon Sue Smith, 57, of Saint Joseph, MO passed away Tuesday, March 2, 2010 in a Saint Joseph, MO health care center.
She was born April 3, 1952 in St. Joseph, MO, the daughter of Molly and John Thompson.
She graduated from Laffayette High School. She worked at United Department Store, Kmart, and Kovacs Grocery as a Inventory Clerk. Sharon was a Christian.
Sharon was preceded in death by her husband, Bernard Smith, her parents, and a sister, Shirley J. McKnight.
Survivors include a sister, Carol Turner of Saint Joseph, MO, 2 brothers, John L. Thompson, and Dennis M. Thompson, both of St. Joseph, MO, and several, nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Smith will be cremated under the direction of the Rupp Funeral Home, a private family graveside service will be held at a later date at the Odd Fellows Public Cemetery.
