Dorothy Pearl Thompson, 86, of Tyler passed away on Monday, May 20, 2013, in Tyler.
Mrs. Thompson, a retired cashier for a grocery store, was born on Dec. 31, 1926, in Corsicana. She married Truman Travis "Tommy" Thompson in 1969 in Tyler. He preceded her in death on Sept. 4, 2002; as did her son, Wesley Leon Ronning in October of 2003.
She is survived by her daughters, Donna Henry, of Flint, Linda McLemore, of Midlothian, Frances Harris, of Longview; sister, Willie Faye Boyd, of Midland; nine grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Saturday, May 25, 2013, at Tyler Memorial Funeral Home, 10253 Texas Highway 64 West, Tyler. Visitation will be one hour prior to services.
Interment will follow in Tyler Memorial Park Cemetery.
