Alice was a longtime resident of Woodford County.
She married Carl Kindig in 1936 and lived the hard life of a farm wife for many years. Following his death in 1959, she moved to Roanoke, where she lived for many years.
After marrying George Alton in 1969, they moved to Secor, where she remained following the death of George until moving to be near her daughter, Kay in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho.
Alice was the mother of two, Charles and Kay.
Charles preceded her in death.
She will be remembered for her sweet, loving disposition and her devotion to family and friends.
The family suggests a donation to a charity of your choice or to your local Humane Society, or give 20 pounds of dog food to your local shelter. She loved all pooches.
