Anita Cagle Luther, 72, of Andrews, died Tuesday, April 14, 1992, in and Andrews hospital.

She was a native of Cherokee County, a daughter of the late Milas and Clyde Sherrill Thompson. She was retired from the Baker Manufacturing Company and was a member of Valley River Baptist Church.

Surviving are her husband, Ray Luther; three sons, Jack D. Cagle of Etowah, Tenn., Bobby Cagle Jr. of Robbinsville and Roy Cagle of Andrews; a daughter, Janice Phelps of Endfield, CT; a brother, Talmadge Thompson of Andrews; 11 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.

Funearl services will be held Thursday, April 16, 1992, in the Townson Rose Funeral Home Chapel, Andrews. The Revs. Roy Phillips and David Blackney will officiate.

Burial will be in the Valley RIver Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Bill Mintz, Chris Slivers, Jeff Cagle, Bryan Cagle, Jack Bryson and Robbie Bryson.

The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Townson Rose Funeral Home, Andrews.

Townson Rose Funeral Home, Andrews, was in charge of arrangements.
