Marjorie was born October 20, 1923 to Warren and Effie (Klein) Thompson in Homer, Michigan. She attended school in Homer and graduated from Albion. During WWII she worked for a time as a “Rosie the Riveter”. She married Clarence (Jr.) Bramble on November 11, 1945 in Albion while on furlough.
She was previously employed by A & P, Decker Mfg. and Ideal Castings.
Marjorie is survived by her daughters, Brenda Heisler and Susan (Bill) Ooms; 6 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Bramble; son, Clare Bramble; her parents; sister, Katherine Hoaglin; brothers, Russell, Elbert and Robert; and a great granddaughter, Alixandra Heisler.
She was a lifelong member of the Vivian’s Society of Albion Elk’s Lodge #1798.
Her passion was her family and friends.
A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, June 1, 2015 at 11:00 AM at the J. Kevin Tidd Funeral Home, 811 Finley Drive, Albion, Michigan 49224 Interment will be held at Albion Memory Gardens.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that contributions be sent to the Albion Elk’s Lodge, P.O. Box 332, Albion, MI 49224 or the Lakeside Vista, 340 W. 40th Street, Holland, MI 49423.
