Mrs. Bidegain was born June 11, 1925 in Central, Ariz., and was a daughter of Ernest and Velma Thomas. She grew up in Casa Grande, where she met and married Pete Bidegain, and they started their family together. In 1961 they moved to the Babacomari Ranch in Elgin, the place she always thought of as home. Her love and world were centered on Pete and their family.
In addition to her husband of 53 years, survivors include three daughters, Brenda Braswell, Page Gayler and Cathy Dukes; two sons, Peter and Todd Bidegain; two sisters, Joan Mason and Carol Gruwell; 12 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother, Ernest "Sonny" Thomas, and a sister, Barbara Grove.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Elgin Community Club, with private burial following at Black Oak Cemetery.
