Sheila Jeanean Arnett, 65, of Hammon, Oklahoma was born on December 20, 1948 in Bend, Oregon. She is the daughter of Lloyd and Imogene (Trout) Thomas. Sheila passed away on July 21, 2014 at her residence in Hammon, Oklahoma. She graduated from Hammon High School class of 1970.
Sheila met and married, Kenneth Arnett in 1971 and out of this union her son, Kenneth Lee Arnett was born. Sheila held numerous jobs around town but spent her last few years working for Hammon Senior Citizens Center. She will be remembered as a devoted mother and an avid animal lover by all those that knew her. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Hammon, Oklahoma.
Memorial Services will be held 10:30 a.m., Friday, July 25, 2014 at the First Baptist Church, Hammon, Oklahoma. Pastor Winston Curtis will officiate. Interment will be in Red Hill Cemetery, Hammon, Oklahoma.
Sheila is survived by her son Kenneth Lee Arnett of Hammon, Oklahoma; two brothers, Bill Thomas and his wife, Linda of Surprise, Arizona and Mike Thomas of Canute, Oklahoma; many nieces, nephews, family and friends.
She is preceded in death by her father, Lloyd Thomas; her mother, Imogene Foster; step-father, Logan Foster; two brothers, Roy Franklin and Ronald Lee Thomas.
