Betty Thomas

Betty J. Thomas, 66 of 6833 N. Mount Hawley Road died at 2:45 a.m. Monday (Nov 26, 1990) at Proctor Community Hospital.
Born April 2, 1924 in Valier to Mr and Mrs. William F Stockton, she married Howard V. Thomas Sr. on July 4, 1942 in Peoria. He survives.
Also surviving are two sons, Howard Vincent of Peoria and Patrick T. of Marshall; one daughter Linda K Landry of Glen Ellyn; six grandchildren; and one brother, Ray D Stockton of San Diego. She was preceded in death by her parents.
She was a self-employed hairdresser. she was a member of the Illinois Police Association, AMVETS and the Old Settlers Association
She also was a member of St. Thomas Catholic Church, where services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday. The Rev. William A. Watson will officiate. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Wright and Salmon Mortuary. Burial Will be in resurrection Cemetery
