Mrs. Blondell Wagster, 88, of Newbern, Tennessee, passed away peacefully on March 10, 2011.

Mrs. Wagster was born June 18, 1922 in Carroll County, she was the daughter of the late Charlie and Mary Thomas.

She was a retired employee of Morris Manufacturing where she worked for 40 years and was a member of the Newbern First Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Troy, 2 sisters and 2 brothers.

Blondell loved caring for her children and grandchildren. "Nannie" will always hold a special place in their hearts.

She is survived by her daughter, Joan Hendrix (Tommy) of Fulton, Kentucky; her son Marvin Wagster (Margaret) of Franklin, Tennessee; her sister Mabel Rodgers Little of Dresden, Tennessee; a brother Guyve Thomas (Marcia) of Newbern, Tennessee; her devoted grandchildren, Tom Hendrix (Erin), Clark Hendrix, Ben Wagster and Laura Beth Wagster.

Funeral services for Mrs. Wagster will be 3:00 PM Saturday in the Chapel of Johnson-Williams Funeral Home. Officiating the service will be Rev. Danny Klutts. Internment will follow in Dyer County Memorial Gardens. Visitation will begin Saturday from 11:00 AM until service time at Johnson-Williams Funeral Home.

The family has ask that memorials be made to the Newbern First Baptist Church Building Fund, 114 West Main Street, Newbern, TN 38059.
