Mr. Thomas was born August 1, 1945 in Mullins, SC and went to be with Jesus on Wednesday, October 30, 2013. He was a son of Clara Martin Thomas Tucker and the late Ernest C. Thomas. Mr. Thomas retired in 2006 from the SC Department of Vocational Rehabilitation and went back to work for the state at the Budget and Control Board. He attended Riverland Hills Baptist Church and was strong in his faith.
Surviving are his wife of 46 years, Carolyn Watts Thomas; daughter, Kimberly D. Thomas; son, Chris W. Thomas (Kelly); grandson, Mason S. Thomas; sister, Lynn T. Rogers (Harold); brother, Martin C. Thomas; a niece; and numerous nephews; and several great-nieces and nephews. Also, are step-sister, Bootsie Hennecy (Richard); and step-brother, Leon Tucker (Ann); and brother-in-law, E. Dale Watts (Lil). He was predeceased by his father; step-dad, L.H. Tucker; mother and father-in-laws, Elbert E. Watts and Grace C. Watts; and sister-in-law, Barbara Thomas.
