Colene Thomas Lancaster went to be with the Lord on Thursday, March 7, 2013, at Hospice of Rutherford County.
Colene was a lifetime member of Roberson Creek Free Will Baptist Church in Bostic.
She was preceded in death by her husband, George Allen Lancaster; her mother and father, Ella Mae and Burley Austin Thomas; a brother, Clyde Robert Thomas, all of Bostic; two brothers-in-law, Grady Toney of Sunshine, J.C. Smith of Forest City; and a sister-in-law, Pat Lowery Thomas of Bostic.
She is survived by her three sisters, Nellie Mae Toney of Sunshine, Sarah T. Smith of Forest City, and Shirley T. Madden and husband H. Courtney Madden of Shelby; five beloved nieces and nephews, Michael Toney and wife Wanda of Sunshine, Sherri Toney Yelton and husband Michael of Forest City, Karen Thomas Lawter and husband David of Gilkey, Russelle Gary Atchley of Shelby, and Kevin Thomas Atchley and wife Ashley of Shelby; a treasured friend and confidant, Charles McSwain of Lattimore; and a circle of great-nieces and nephews.
Entombment: Rutherford County Memorial Cemetery Mausoleum.
