PHEBA - Bobby Dick Thomas, 69, died Saturday, November 18, 2006, at the Riley Hospital in Meridian. He was born February 3, 1937, in Philadelphia, Mississippi. He was a cattle farmer and a U. S. Army veteran. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Union.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the Robinson Funeral Home Chapel in West Point with the Rev. Inge Halbert and the Rev. Terry Partin officiating. Burial will be in the Cedar Bluff Cumberland Presbyterian Cemetery.
Survivors include his wife, Carol Thomas of Pheba; two daughters, KIaren Estes of Tupelo and Shelley Thomas of Cedar Bluff; one granddaughter, Kaleigh S. Estes.
His nephews will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Bobby Champion, Early Foster, Brandy Cliett, Wesley bell, Marty Coggins, Bobby Smith, Clyde Cook, Maurice Robinson, John Houston, Richard Webb, Joe Wright, Jr. and Thompson Boatler.
Memorials may be made to Cedar Bluff United Methodist Church c/o Oliver Watson, 1118 W. Loop Drive, West Point, MS 39773 or to the Cedar Bluff Cumberland Presbyterian Cemetery c/o Anna Sims, 911 Henryville Road, Cedarbluff, MS 39741.
Visitation will be Monday from noon until service time at the funeral home.
