Funeral services for J. R. Thomason, 64, of Route 2, Pittsburg, are to be held at the Blue Springs school at 11 o'clock tomorrow morning, with George House, Church of Christ minister, officiating. Burial will be in Kiowa cemetery under the direction of the Humphrey funeral home. Mr. Thomason died Wednesday. He was born on May 5, 1878, at Salem, Mo. He had been a resident of the Pittsburg community for 27 years. Survivors include the widow, Mrs. Sena Thomason; four children, Everett Thomason, now of the U. S. Army, and Harold Loyd Thomason, Mrs. Evelyn Stackhouse, and Miss Emma Mae Thomason, all of route 2, Pittsburg; six brothers, William Thomason of Lindsay, Noah Thomason of Wilburton, Dave and John Thomason, both of Hemet, Calif., Elmer Thomason of Sardis, and Andrew Thomason of Hartshorne; one sister, Mrs. Lina McCormick of Hemet; three step children, C. P. Christman and Herman Christman, and Mrs. Francine Sweetin, all of Route 2, McAlester. Mr. Thomason was a member of the Church of Christ.
