Services for Lily Thevenot Couvillion Ducote, age 94, of Cottonport will be at 11:00 AM on Saturday, August 14, 2010 at St. Marys Assumption Catholic Church. Entombment will be in St. Mary Mausoleum #2, Cottonport.
Ms. Ducote passed away Thursday, August 12, 2010 at Valley View Nursing Home.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Coralie Moreau Thevenot; father, Athanas Thevenot; brothers, Otis Thevenot, Henry Thevenot, Herbert "Hick" Thevenot, Guy Thevenot, Murley Thevenot, Wiltz "Bis" Thevenot, Ury "Ty" Thevenot, Ory "John" Thevenot; husband, Magnus Couvillion and Huey "Speck" Ducote.
Survivors include her daughters, Marilyn Couvillion Gonzales and husband Luke of Lecompte; Mary Ann Couvillion of Pineville; sons, Hanson Couvillion and wife Rebecca of Huntsville, Alabama, Michael Couvillion and wife Kathleen of Cottonport; seven grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren; three step great grandchildren.
Visitation will be at Escude Funeral Home of Cottonport, from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM Friday, August 13, 2010 with a Wake service Friday night at 7:00 PM and will re-open Saturday at 8:00 AM.
