About Annabelle Diane Thayer:

Annabelle Thayer, 76 died February 15, 2007 at her home in Heber, Utah. She was born July 10, 1930 in Los Angeles California to Fred Pierre Leach and Gertrude Marie Prickett. In 1948 she graduated from Manual High School in California. She Married Richard Edward Thayer on March 2, 1956 in St. George, Utah.

Mom loved music. She played the piano and organ well and encouraged her children to gain musical skills. Ann loved reading and gradually amassed her own private library which she shared with her children. She loved being actively engaged in a good cause and as such she functioned as an officer in the Utah Association of Women for many years. In her youth she collected shells and spent hours on the beach. Ann loved flowers, gardening, planting, harvesting and reading about planting, seeds and harvesting. She served in many LDS church callings, among her favorites were Stake Dance Instructor, Gospel Doctrine Teacher and Relief Society Secretary.

She is survived by her Husband; children: Kathleen (Steve) Coleman, David (Tammy) Thayer, Stephen (Mary) Thayer, Robert (Elaina) Thayer, Beth Thayer, Ruth (Brett) Randall, Rebecca (Eric) Hogan; Sisters in law: Iris (Bob) Thayer, Barbara (Larry) Salsbury; Grandchildren: Russell, Timothy and Julianna Coleman; Lindsay, Tony, Tanner and Hayley Thayer; Rachel, Ben, Sam, Ester and Daniel Thayer; Hanna, Isabel, Celia and Stuart Thayer; Hannah, Adam, Erin, Jacob, Lydia Winn and Sophie Randall.

The funeral will be held February 20, 2007 at the Heber 9th Ward Chapel, 325 East 400 North in Heber, Utah. At 11:00am. A viewing will be held one hour prior at the same location. Interment at Heber City Cemetery. Arrangements by SereniCare Funeral Directors.

The family would like to give a special thanks to Heber Valley Medical Center, Intermountain Health Care Hospice, Dr. Haderlie and Dr. Tayler.
