Loreine Dye, age 95, of Leesburg, Florida, formerly of Valparaiso, Indiana, passed away Tuesday, May 24, 2005 in Wesley Manor Healthcare Center in Frankfort, Indiana.
Born February 23, 1910 in Porter County, Indiana, the daughter of Clarence and Eva (Marine) Thatcher. She married James E. Dye on August 18, 1940 in Valparaiso and he preceded her in death July 5, 1986.
She worked several years for F. W. Woolworth Company, but was a homemaker the majority part of her working life. She was a member of Morrison United Methodist Church in Leesburg, FL.
Surviving are a son, Jim Dye of Sedalia, Indiana; one sister, Jenelle Pool of Valparaiso; and one grandson.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and five sisters.
Graveside services will be held 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, May 31, 2005 in Graceland Cemetery at Valparaiso, Indiana. Pastor Joyce Knauf officiating. No calling is planned. Archer-Weston Funeral Home in Frankfort, Indiana is assisting the family with arrangements.
