Linda Lea (Terry) Donley passed away on July 1, 2013 at her Thornfield home with her family by her side. Linda was born June 7, 1950 in Gainesville to Flay and Versal (Honeycutt) Terry.

Linda was baptized in Big Creek by Reverend Lawrence Applegate at the age of nine. Linda was a devout Christian who attended Hilltop Victory Chapel in Thornfield. Linda attended Lutie's one-room schoolhouse during 1st-2nd grades and finished 3rd-8th grade at the newly consolidated Lutie Elementary. She then graduated from Gainesville High School in 1968.

After graduation, Linda moved to Kansas City and worked at Hallmark Cards for two years before returning to Ozark County to marry Larry Donley on June 14, 1970. Larry and Linda owned and operated Donley Feed and Fertilizer, raised their family, and enjoyed life on the farm together for 43 years.

Linda is survived by husband Larry Donley, daughter Trisha Haltom and husband Nathan, their sons Triston and Taylor of Thornfield; son Randy Donley and wife Miranda, their children Peyton, Hallee and Owen of Thornfield; and son Rick Donley and wife Devin, their children Harper and Dean of Holt, MO. She is also survived by mother Versal Terry, sister Sandra Richards, brother Jeff Terry and wife Bobbi, and mother-in-law Lucille Donley, along with a large, loving extended family.

She is preceded in death by father Flay Terry, father-in-law Willis Donley, and brother-in-law Merrill Richards.

Linda enjoyed singing in church, playing with her grandchildren, and attending TOPS and Ladies Prayer Brunch. She enjoyed going on outings with her mother and sister.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, July 3, 2013 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, July 4, 2013 both at Clinkingbeard Funeral Home chapel in Gainesville, MO. Burial will be in the Thornfield Cemetery. Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital; Thornfield Cemetery; or American Cancer Society.
