Charles Edwin Terry Sr., 79 of the Carpenter's Home, died Saturday afternoon at the home after an illness of several months. He was a native of St. Augustine and moved to the home two months ago from Tampa. He was a retired high school teacher and supervisor of vocational education in Tampa.
Mr. Terry was a member of the Carpenter Union in Tampa; past president of the Sons of The American Revolution and a member of the Retired Teachers Association.
He is survived by one son, C. E. Terry Jr., Orlando; one sister, Mrs. B. E. Hardaker, Jacksonville, and three nephews.
Graveside services will be tomorrow at 3 o'clock at the Auburndale Cemetery in Orlando. Thornton Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

RITES FOR MR. TERRY
Funeral services for Charles E. Terry Sr., 79, of the Carpenter's Home, who died Saturday, were held yesterday afternoon at the graveside at the Old Auburndale Cemetery, with the Rev. Dr. Evert A. Cremer, pastor of the Westminster Presbyterian Church, officiating.
Mr. Terry's nephews served as pallbearers
