Phyllis Audrey Renfroe, 74, a lifelong resident of Jacksonville passed away March 4, 2011. A native of Jacksonville she was a 1954 graduate of Fletcher High School, and a long time member of Lake Forest Church of Christ. On December 21, 1954 she married Bill C. Renfroe and they had 2 children. She was preceded in death by her father William M. Terry, and her mother Violet Terry. She is survived by her husband of 56 years Bill C. Renfroe, 1 daughter Deborah J. Bennett (Steve), 1 son William R. Renfroe both of Jacksonville, 1 brother William C. Terry of Melrose, FL, 2 granddaughters Terry and Natalie, 4 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p. m. Tuesday at George H. Hewell and Son Funeral Home, 4747 Main Street, Jacksonville, Florida 32206. Funeral services will be held 11 a. m. Wednesday in Lake Forest Church of Christ, 950 W. Edgewood Ave. with Minister Larry Paulk officiating, burial will follow in Jacksonville National Cemetery. She truly loved The Lord and her Christian Friends.

Violet Lee Bloodworth Terry of Melrose died Monday at Shands at AGH in Gainesville. She was 89. Mrs. Terry was a homemaker and a member of the Eliam Baptist Church. She was born in Stillmore, Ga., and moved from Atlantic Beach to Melrose 39 years ago. Mrs. Terry was preceded in death by her husband, William Marvin Terry. Survivors include a son, William C. Terry of Melrose; a daughter, Phyllis Renfroe of Jacksonville; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
