James Clarence Terry, Jr. born 2 Feb 1837 Edgefield Co, SC, s/o of James Clarence Terry, Sr (b Bet. 1791 - 03 July 1796 Raeley Creek Plantation, Edgefield Co, SC died 21 July 1856 Mt. Sterling, Choctaw Co, AL) & Mary Ann Simpson Hutchinson (b Bet. 20 October 1805 - 1812 Augusta, Richmond, GA d 04 February 1886 bur Friendship Cem, Columbus, Lowndes Co, MS). He married first 27 February 1858 in Fayette Co, AL to Jane A. 'Jennie' Murray (b 18 July 1844 Al d abt Nov 1873 buried Old Fayette Cem, Fayette, Fayette Co, AL). Thier Children are i. Rosalie Agnes Terry (20 February 1860 - 08 December 1949) ii. Minnie Belle Terry (13 July 1861 - 27 July 1961 - Find A Grave Memorial# 28576959) iii. Wiley Eugene Terry (28 September 1865 - ????) iv. James Clarence Terry, III (12 November 1867 - 04 December 1923 bur McMullen Cem, Clearwater, Pinellas Co, FL) v. Joseph Hutchinson Terry (12 August 1871 - ????) vi. Jennie A. Terry (between 1871 & 1873). J C married second 08 September 1881 in Sumter, FL Maggie A Gey (born c 1862, MD d Bet. 1894 - 1900) (bio by: Lee Ferguson)
