Mildred M. Cox, 93 of Gallatin, passed away Saturday, June 16th at the Daviess County Nursing & Rehab Center where she had resided for 2-1/2 years. Mildred was born June 6, 1919, near Coffey, Missouri, to Everett R. and Iola R.
(Russell)Terry. On July 4, 1972, she was united in marriage to Isaac Dale Cox,who preceded her in death in 2000. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, sisters Rose Marlene Terry and Ramona Young; brothers, Ronald Terry and Ralph Terry; two infant children.
She is survived by; her son, Leroy Salmon, of St. Joseph, Missouri; her daughters, Betty Thompson and husband, Allen of Canton, Texas, and Linda Arnold and husband, Mike, of Gallatin, Missouri; and a step-daughter, Judy Srca, of
Junction City, Kansas. Sisters, Maxine Franks and husband, Alvin and Betty Jeffries both of Gallatin, Missouri, Leona Reynolds and Retha Jahnke and husband, Ivan, both of St. Joseph, Missouri. She is also survived by eight
grandchildren; Darryl Thompson of Piedmont, Oklahoma, Rodney Thompson of McKinney, Texas; David Thompson of Shelbyville, Kentucky; Steve Salmon, and Sandy Roman, of St. Joseph, Missouri, and Robin Hayter of Maysville, Missouri; Jonathan Arnold of Kansas City, Missouri and Phillip Arnold of Kirksville, Missouri; and nine great-grandchildren.
