Beatrice Jane Miller Terrell of N. 6th Street, was received by her Heavenly Father on August 13th. Daughter of the late Forrest and Frances V. Miller, she was born June 17, 1924, in Harrisburg, where she graduated from William Penn High School.
She was a member of The First Baptist Church of Steelton, its Hospitality and Nurses' Ministries and a former member of Shiloh Baptist and Antioch Missionary Baptist Churches, Williamsport. Beatrice retired from GTE Sylvania, Inc., Williamsport, and was a God-gifted artist who donated her paintings to her churches.
The widow of James O. Terrell, she was predeceased by 2 brothers, Mercer and William Miller; 4 sisters, Pauline Browne, Frances Connor, Rebecca Bourne and Vanessa Miller. She leaves a loving legacy to be cherished by 2 daughters, Elaine M. Terrell of Harrisburg, and Janice D. (Douglas) DeGeorge of Severn, Maryland; nieces, nephews, grand-godson, sisters-in-law, other relatives and friends.
Beatrice's Life Tribute will be held at noon, Tuesday, August 19, 2008, at her church, 1850 S. 19th Street, Harrisburg, with viewing from 11 a.m. to noon. Interment will be Wednesday in Green Lawn Memorial Park, Montgomery.
