Lyde Culpepper Terral, 94, of New Boston, Texas, passed away Sunday, February 11, 2007, in a Texarkana hospital. Ms. Terral was born April 26, 1912, in Port St. Joe, Florida. She was a homemaker and a retired employee of Red River Army Depot. She was a member of Malta Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by husbands, J.D. Culpepper and Joe F. Terral, one daughter, Frankie Pierce, and one grandson, Jackie Henderson. Survivors include two daughters and one son-in-law, Peggy Barfield, and Wanda and Ronny Looney, one son and daughter-in-law, Kenneth and Betty Culpepper, all of New Boston, two sisters, Hilma Caddenhead of Nash, Texas, and Chloe Wilkerson of Graham, Texas, sixteen grandchildren, thirty-two great grandchildren, and ten great-great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, February 14, 2007, at Malta Baptist Church, with Rev. Todd Reed and Rev. Roy Ford officiating. Burial will be in Old Salem Cemetery, under the direction of Bates Rolf Funeral Home, New Boston. Visitation will be 6-8 P.M., Tuesday, at the funeral home. Memorials can be made to the charity of choice.
