Arvilla Taylor Beal, 82, passed away on March 17, 1990 in Salt Lake City.

Born July 13, 1907 in Salem, Utah to Zanetta Curtis and Walter Evan Taylor.

Married G. Ben Beal on November 17, 1925 in Manti, Utah. Marriage solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple on March 28, 1979.

Active member of LDS Church, belonging to the Bonneville First Ward. In partnership with her husband, she helped establish First Western Fidelity Co., the first real estate investment trust in Utah. Worked many years at ZCMI. PTA President Liberty Elementary.

Red Cross volunteer. Enthusiastic participant Daughters of Utah Pioneers, where she enjoyed sharing stories of her heritage. Maintained continuing interest in reading, history, quilting, genealogy, football, politics, and making scrapbooks for her grandchildren.

Enjoyed spending time with her family at her ranch in Star Valley, Wyoming. Affectionately called ''Nano'' by her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Lived a long and abundant life and continued to be productive until the day of her sudden illness.

Survived by one daughter, Mrs. Lon Rodney (Carolyn) Kump, of Salt Lake City; three sons, Ben D. Beal, of Kearns, Richard W. Beal and wife, Trilla, of Midvale, Neal R. Beal and wife, Dianne, of Holladay; sixteen grand-grandchildren; twenty-one great-grandchildren; one sister, Leola Thurman, of Glenns Ferry, Idaho; one brother, Merrill C. Taylor, of Afton, Wyoming. Preceded in death by husband, two sisters, Jennie Taylor and Alice Taylor, two brothers, Walter Cleon Taylor and Ellis Curtis Taylor.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, March 23, 1990 at 12:00 p.m. in the Wasatch Lawn Mortuary Chapel, 3401 South Highland Drive (1495 East), where friends may call on Thursday evening from 6:00-8:00 p.m. and one hour prior to the services.
Interment: Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park.
