Ms. Juanita Taylor, age 72, of Sulligent, passed away Wednesday, June 23, 2010 at UAB Hospital in Birmingham. Funeral services will be held Sunday, June 27, 2010 at 3:00 P.M. at Otts Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Wofford Cemetery. Bro. Marion Dees Jr. will be officiating. Visitation will be at the funeral home Saturday evening from 6 until 8 P.M.
Ms. Taylor was born June 8, 1938 in Lamar County, AL to the late Roy and Jeanette O'Mary Weeks. She attended First Assembly of God in Sulligent and Cornerstone Worship Center in Columbus, MS. Ms. Taylor attended Sulligent High School. She had previously worked at Sulligent Library and Sulligent School Lunchroom. Ms. Taylor also had previously worked and managed Bills Dollar Store and at McCoy Mfg. She enjoyed sewing, gardening, quilting and reading.
