Ora Ruth Taylor Gillespie
Ora Ruth Taylor Gillespie, of Louisville,
passed away Monday, March 3, 2003, at
her home. She was born November 19, 1916,
to Herbert L. and Ora Deiss Taylor of
Louisville. She was a member of Baptist
Tabernacle for 73 years, the Women's
Missionary Union and Friendship
International.
She was preceded in death by her husband,
Woodward H. Gillespie, and her son,
Robert H. Gillespie Sr.
Survivors include two sons,
William Gillespie
and Mark Gillespie;
a daughter, Ann Meadows; 10 grandchildren;
and nine great-grandchildren.
Her funeral service will be held at 10 a.m.
Friday, March 7, 2003,
at Schoppenhorst & Underwood Funeral Home,
1832 W. Market St. (at 19th Street),
with burial in Resthaven Memorial Park.
