Mrs. Eaton was a longtime Salisbury resident and the wife of the late Charles A. Eaton, Jr., who died in 1978. She was the daughter of the late Fred L. and Alice Chase Taylor and was a graduate of Amesbury High School, Class of 1940. Norma had been an active member of People's United Methodist Church of Newburyport, Rebekah Lodge and for many years had volunteered at the Anna Jaques Hospital and the Playhouse. She was predeceased by a brother and a sister, Carlyle Taylor, who died in 1952 and Marilyn Bauer, who died in 2003. Norma died at Brigham Manor Nursing Home at age 84.
