Cassie Rasmussen Taylor our loving mother, sister, grandmother, and friend is now with her beloved family who preceded her in death. Her husband Wendell A. Taylor, her father Lars Martinews Rasmussen, and mother Elsie L. Fredrickson, two brothers, Harold Rasmussen and Francis J. Rasmussen.
We miss her already, she passed from the mortal sphere on March 4, 2000, at Sevier Valley Hospital, Richfield, UT. She is survived by two brothers, Jesse Rasmussen, Ogden, UT, and Oliver (Walter) Rasmussen, Quartzite, AZ; one daughter Madelyne DeLeeuw, Lyman, UT, and one son Blaine W. Taylor, Richmond, TX; 9 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren. Cassie was born October 8, 1914 in Weston, ID. She lived in Idaho most of her life, having lived in Logan, UT since 1961. She worked at the Utah State University Library for many years. She loved
gardening, working in the yard, reading, doing family histories and traveling.
Her many friends may pay their respects at 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, March 8, 2000, at the Logan 10th Ward Chapel,
792 North 500 East, with Bishop Doug Ringle conducting.
Friends may call at the Nelson Funeral Home, 162 East 400 North, Logan, UT from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 7, 2000. Friends may also call from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday at the Church prior to services. Close friend and family are invited to attend the family prayer at 1:15 p.m. prior to services. Interment will be at the Preston City Cemetery immediately following the services.
