Former Sims Resident Dies
Albert Owen Taylor, 85, of Tampa, Fla., died at 8:30 am. Monday, Jan. 12, 1998, at his home.
He was a former resident of Sims and a retired welder.
Rites Friday
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday from the Richardson Funeral Home in Wayne City, with Rev. Charles Marshel officiating. Interment will be in Olive Branch Cemetery south of Wayne City. Visitation will be at the Richardson Funeral Home from 1 p.m. Friday to the funeral hour.
He was born at Sims Feb. 10, 1912, the son of Claude and Cora Richardson Taylor.
He was married to the former Velma Garrison. She preceded him in death in 1982. They had no children.
The Survivors
Surviving are a brother, Harry Taylor of Anderson Inc,; and a halfbrother, Ezra Womack of Tampa, Fla.
