Funeral services for Brian Keith Taylor, 24 of Dime Box, Texas and formerly of Waco, Texas, are scheduled for 10:00 a.m. on Friday, June 14, 2013 at Sandy Point AME Church in Dime Box, Texas with Rev. Diane Carmichael officiating. Burial will follow in the Sandy Point Cemetery. Visitation will be held Thursday from 8:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. and Friday from 7:00 a.m. until 8:00 a.m. at Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home in Giddings.
On August 13, 1988, Brian was born to Grace Bell Taylor and Bryon Keith Taylor in Waco, Texas. Brian graduated from Waco Connally High School and had been employed as a machine operator for Longwood in Brenham, Texas. Brian loved basketball and the Lakers. He was a hard worker that always gave his all. God and family meant everything to him as well as his Jordan tennis shoe collection. On Friday, June 7, 2013, Brian's earthly walk came to an end following an automobile accident in Giddings.
He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Weber Taylor Sr., Clarence Bell Sr. and Clint Forman and uncles, Clarence Bell Jr. and Pat Bell.
Brian leaves behind to cherish his memories, his loving mother, Grace Bell Taylor of Waco, Texas; one daughter, Keimora Lagrace Garcia and her mother, Brenda Garcia of Caldwell; his father, Bryon Keith and Bobretta Taylor of Caldwell and their children, DeAndre Burns, Mikala Burns, Nicole Taylor, Destiny Taylor and B.K. Taylor; grandmothers, Ira Zella Bell of Dime Box, Zettie B. Cox of Dime Box, and Momma Johnnie Mae Cox of Waco
