The funeral for Mrs. Charles Alvey, 71, of 13416 Hinchbrook Boulevard, Valley Station, will be at 9 a.m. Wednesday at Our Lady Help of Christians Catholic Church. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Mrs. Alvey, the former Elizabeth Taylor, died at 8 p.m. Sunday at General Hospital. She had been ill for some time. Mrs. Alvey, a native of Grayson County, was a member of Our Lady Help of Christians Church. She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Raymond Lakin and Mrs. Cleavie Higdon; two sons, Ambrose and Walter Alvey; 22 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. The body is at the W. G. Hardy Valley Chapel, 10907 Dixie Highway.
