Beulah May Taylor Call, 91, died April 29, 2006 in Idaho Falls. she was surrounded by family.
Beulah was born March 11, 1914 in Tremonton, Utah to Ida May Leavitt and Newell William Taylor. She was the second oldest of four children.
When Beulah was about seven years old, the family moved to Penrose, Utah. There her father raised a small herd of cows. she kept busy helping her father and brothers with the farm. She spent many hours reading while herding cows. She loved books.
Beulah met Ivan Leon Call on one of her visits to her Grandfather Leavitt's home in Star Valley. Beulah and Ivan were married in the Salt Lake LDS Temple on sept 28, 1934.
When Ivan was called to active duty. Beulah pack their small family and some supplies into the family car. they traveled from place to place with Ivan as he trained at different military camps. During the course of his military career, Beulah moved 32 times.
Beulah and Ivan made their home in Afton. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She loved the LDS Church and had many callings in it. she also enjoyed embroidering, crocheting and planting flowers.
Beulah is survived by her four children, Duane T. (Pearl) Call; Sherryln (Bert) Acosta; Leone (Vern) Crook; Lynn Ivan (Julie)Call; 24 grandchildren, 52 great grandchildren; and four great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and three brothers.
Funeral services were held on Wednesday, May 4, 2005 in the Afton Fourth Ward LDS Chapel.
Burial was in the Afton Cemetery.
