Mrs. Junk was born on September 22, 1928 in Natchez, MS; the daughter of the late Edward Holmes Taussig and the late Renza (Brown) Banks. She was preceded in death by her husband, Virgil S. Junk.
She is survived by a son, Edward (Linda) Junk of Lafayette, LA; a daughter, Renza (Larry) Linnemeyer of Blackwell, MO; a grandson, Larry (Tammy) Linnemeyer and three granddaughters, Linda Linnemeyer, Kimberly Linnemeyer and Clarissa (Andrew) Grossmann, and a brother, James E. (Karen) Taussig of Lake Charles, LA.
