Thelma Madelene Beebe was born November 2, 1920 in Indiana; the daughter of Chester and Marie (Fencetemaker) Beebe. She married George Tatgenhorst and they resided in California until his death.
Thelma was a seamstress in Hollywood for a time, making clothes for movie stars, including John Wayne. Once she moved back to Iowa, she came to know her Lord and Savior while working at the Meyer residence as a companion and caretaker. Thelma was a classy lady; always the life of the party and the belle of the ball.
She is survived by her daughters, Jackie (Bill) Snow; Cindy (Dewey) Scott; step sister Ardis (Jim) Sullivan of Grand River, IA; sister in law Vella Beebe; nieces, nephews, other relatives, and a host of friends, including her special friend, Carol Conard.
Thelma was preceded in death by her parents; step-father, Herman Kritenbrink; her husband, George; son, Robert Mangiaracina; brothers, Robert Beebe; Roland (LaVonne)Beebe; and a stepbrother, Herman (Maria) Kritenbrink, Jr.
