Floyce I. Coleman Tarrant, 82, died Monday, March 6, 2006, at the Manchester Health Care Center. She was born Sept. 21, 1923, in the Hurricane community to the late Eli Coleman and Ethel Robbins Coleman. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Manchester. An avid gardener, she was a member of the Manchester Garden Club.

Services were Thursday, March 9, at the Central Funeral Home Chapel in Manchester, Tenn., with Dr. Brenton Cox officiating. Burial was in Rose Hill Memorial Gardens in Tullahoma, Tenn.

Survivors include one daughter, Pamela S. (A.J.) Mantone of Hillsboro, Tenn.; one brother, Jewel Coleman; six grandchildren, LaDonna Howard, Angelina Moore, Gayle Doss, A.J. Mantone III, Anthony Mantone and Angie Smith; 13 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Murl Tarrant; a sister, Nettie Mae Raby; and two brothers, Elton Coleman and R.B. Coleman.
