Graveside funeral services were held at Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery for Elizabeth Tanner Acevedo, 97, who passed away December 18, 2007 in a nursing facility in Narvon, PA.
Born October 20, 1910, in Malakoff, Henderson County, Texas, she was the 5th child born to Richard Harrison Tanner and Della Leanda (Norris) Tanner. Elizabeth relocated to Dallas in the 1940's and spent her retirement years in Cedar Hill, Texas.
She was preceded in death by a son, William "Bill" Leroy Morgan; daughter, Hazel Marie Morgan; daughter, Mary Elizabeth Gallant; and granddaughter, Susan Huemmer.
She was survived by her husband, Anthony "Tony" Raphael Acevedo; one son, and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
