Lois L. T. Childers
HARTSELLE- Mrs. Lois Louise Tanner Childers, 77, of 1902 Sparkman St. SW. Hartselle, died Monday at a Birmingham hospital. The funeral will be Thursday at 1 p.m. At First Baptist Church with the Rev. Ron Wilson officiating.
Burial will be in Burningtree Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Childers was a member of First Baptist Church, where she worked in the library and was a retired teacher after 31 years in Florida and in the Morgan County school system.
Survivors include her husband, Elzin P. Childers; two sons, Clifton H. Childers of Dallas and Noel K. Childers of Birmingham; a daughter, Pamela Bittenbinder of Stuart, Florida; a brother, Cecil Tanner of Rock Creek; four sisters, Cleo Blackwood of Rock Creek, Eloise Maddox of Neel, Carmon Tanner and Elna Tanner, both of Hartselle; and 10 grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church library.
