His memorial is placed near a little stone with her name on it. On a cold January morning when she was 3 yrs. old, as her older brother, John was leaving for town with his wood, she said to him. "Bring me some tanny, Don". That evening when he came home with the candy, she was dead. She had an attack of croup and was gone before evening.
