Rose P. Gudenkauf, 80, Seneca, Kan., died Nov. 9, 1993, at a hospital in Seneca. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Seneca; burial in the church cemetery. The rosary will be said at 3 p.m. and 7 p.m. today at the Lauer Chapel, Seneca. The family suggests contributions to the Nemaha Valley Community Hospital, Seneca. Mrs. Gudenkauf lived near Seneca all her life. She was a member of the church and the Seneca Sunflower Home Demonstration Unit. Her husband, Joseph Gudenkauf, died in 1989. Survivors include two sons, Robert Gudenkauf, Oneida, Kan., and Eugene Gudenkauf, Radcliff, Ky.; six daughters, Maxine Koehler and Vivian Martin of Hanover, Kan., Marie Cleland, Jo Ann Mitchell and Betty Hermesch of Seneca and Janell Niehues, Corning, Kan.; a brother, Alfred Tanking, and two sisters, Lorene Gress and Florence Gudenkauf, all of Seneca; 27 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and eight step-great-grandchildren.
