FLANAGAN - The Funeral Of Margaret S. Locker, 90, of Beulah Land Christian Home, Flanagan, formerly of Pontiac, will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Trinity Lutheran Church, Fairbury, the Rev. Darby Lawrence officiating. Burial will be in Southside Cemetery, Pontiac. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Duffy Funeral Home, Pontiac, and half an hour before before the service at the church.
Mrs. Locker died at 7:55 a.m. Friday (Aug. 29, 1997) at Beulah Land Christian Home, Flanagan.
Memorials may be made to the Trinity Lutheran Church, Fairbury, or the First Lutheran Church, Pontiac, for radio broadcast.
Survivors include a daughter, Joyce Bender, Springfield, Ohio; a son, Lambert Locker, Pontiac; two brothers, John Tammen, Gridley; and Arnold Tammen, Ludlow; eight grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Locker was born Aug. 30, 1906, in Fulda, Minn., a daughter of Henry and Margaret Schmidt Tammen. She married L.C. Locker on Feb. 5, 1930, in Oregon. He died Nov. 6, 1978.
Her parents, four brothers and seven sisters preceded her in death.
She attended school in Fulda and was a beautician in Pontiac from 1950 to 1973. She was a member of First Lutheran Church, Pontiac, Pontiac AARP and Protective Home Circle.
