Kathlene Talkington, age 71, of Russellville, died Saturday, July 3, 2004, at St. Edward Mercy Medical Center in Fort Smith. She was born June 23, 1933, in Lamar, Arkansas, and was a daughter of the late Benjamin Franklin and Mary Etta Dodson Overbey. She was the widow of Ottie L. Talkington, was a former employee Morton Frozen Foods (now Con-Agra) in Russellville, had been a waitress for several area restaurants. She was a member of the 5th and Greenwich Church of Christ. Survivors include two sons: Ottie Neal Talkington of Alma; and David Lee Talkington of Dover; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
A graveside memorial service will be 10 A.M., Tuesday, July 6, 2004, at Rest Haven Memorial Park by Mr. Harold Davidson. Arrangements are by Shinn Funeral Service of Russellville.
