Margaret Salvage Taliaferro of Jupiter Island, FL, died peacefully surrounded by family on October 2, 2010. She was the daughter of Sir Samual and Lady Salvage and is the widow of C. Champe Taliaferro.
She is survived by four children, Phyllis Wells, James Polk, Charles Taliaferro and Barclay Marcell, step-sons James Taliaferro and Robin Taliaferro, a sister Magdeline Anthony, seven grandchildren and four great- grandchildren.
She is the author of four books for children: "The Real Reason for Christmas"; "Do You Ever Have Questions Like These?"; "In the Beginning"; and "Easter Happiness and You"; and a biography of her husband, "A Reckless Grace, An Account of Pilots and their Planes from the Jennys to the Jets".
She taught Sunday School at Christ Memorial Chapel and she also taught at the Hobe Sound Child Care Center.
