Gloucester - John Earl Taliaferro, 86, died Saturday at home.
A native of Gloucester, he was an Army veteran of World War I.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Elizabeth Taliaferro; two nieces, Mrs. Anne Byrd Woods Nalle of Austin, Texas, and Mrs. Jacqueline Woods Gorman of Baltimore; and nephew, Alan Churchill Woods Jr. of Baltimore.
A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday in Ware Episcopal Church Cemetery by the Rev. Michael Murray.
